Paint correction is the process of removing minor, moderate, and heavy scratches and imperfections found on the vehicles clear coat. This process consist of several stages. Each vehicle is different depending on the type of vehicles paint and the work needed to remove or minimize scratches. See the stages below.

Note: If you run your fingernail across a scratch and your fingernail stops, the scratch is typically too deep to buff out.

Stage 1:

First the vehicles clear coat is chemically cleaned to remove any contaminants such as sap, bugs, tar, bird droppings, etc. This process also consist of using fallout cleaners and claybar to remove contaminants.

Stage 2:

A polisher is used with various pads and compounds to remove scratches. This stage requires a lot of time depending on the condition of the vehicles clear coat. Typically 50% to 75% of the scratches and/or blemishes can be removed. If you are wanting up to 90+%, this process can take 1 or 2 days to complete.

Stage 3: Paint “Protection”

Ceramic / Graphene Coating is the final stage and best protection to lock in a glossy shine. Your vehicles surface will be very slick repelling dirt and water. See section on Ceramic Coating.
